Caterpillar

From Kirei Cake: Possessing both flexibility and tenacity, Imomushi (Japanese for Caterpillar) is an assassin that does not kill anyone but those who are assigned to her. She seems to have had something happen between her and her older sister in the past, however. A new spin-off story from the same author of Arachnid, this story looks at the inner workings of a top assassin within The Organization itself. Note: In early 2014, serialization resumed with a new artist. The series had been on hiatus after the sudden passing of the previous artist in 2013.

Chairudo

Stories about the "chairudo". The title of the series is written with kanji which mean "small-kind-people", but Ogino gives them unusual readings so that it becomes a clever pun for "child". Chairudo are childlike people (even when they have become adults) with each an exceptional supernatural gift, a power. Some are "firestarters" for example. The main character, Hinagata Heiji, looks like a loser, but looks are deceptive. He has the uncanny ability to bring to life every inanimate object by bringing the object in touch with his blood. He wanders around, enlisting himself in a school from time to time (after all, he looks like a child). But every "chairudo" has got its own territory and conflicts between them, especially about the females, are numerous.

Charisma (ISHIHARA Satoru)

From Translated Treasures: It is a multi-perspective story following several different characters. The central character is Archer Rogue. Archer's entire family is a bit off-kilter. His father Ed is bi-polar due to physical abuse from his father as a child. As a result, he beats Archer at times ("for his own good"), or swings to a scared, child-like persona and is incapable of even feeding himself. Archer's childhood was understandably difficult, and he's a rather closed-off, violent person as a result. His older half-brother Murphy is mentally retarded. The story follows Archer (street name: El Gato) as he works with Deano to infiltrate the drug cartel that has a long-standing grudge against his gang. Along the way he meets Ken, not knowing that he is also infiltrating the cartel (for the police). It contains lots of conflict between groups, inside of groups, and with seeming random strangers. The stories in the first volume are in published order, rather than chronological: the first manga begins with Archer being released from prison for shooting his father. Then it goes back to a young 15-year-old Archer and how it all started. Prequel to Inu no Ou
